Valoze’s Greenhouse was established in 1968 in Maplewood, New York. When I-787 was later constructed, the greenhouse was moved to its current location on Route 9 in Latham, New York
The greenhouse has been family owned and operated since the first days of operation. The greenhouse is now run by first, second and third generation family members.
Next time you visit Valoze’s, be sure to notice the fig tree still growing in our main greenhouse. The fig has been growing in its current location since Valoze’s opened. Rumor has it that the fig traveled to the United States from Italy many years before. It belonged to Sal Valoze’s mother. Cuttings from this tree have started hundreds of new fig trees over the last 50 years and can be found living happily in homes all over the Capital District. Maybe a Valoze fig tree will find its way to your house someday soon.
Can I get zinnia plants there to replant at my house?..
Yes you can. Just not at the moment. Mid May would be your best time.
